![]() My other ISP who was charging over $100 for just 3MB (that's just insane) finally came to their senses and had a plan with good speed for a fair price and I finally have good internet again. I was averaging about 5MB download speeds and occasionally would get around 30MB but it was so inconsistent and would almost never work when I needed it and decided it just best to cancel. And then the problems started all over again. I like that improvement, and my speeds did get better for a few days. I even replaced the older model "trash can" with the newer square one with the screen facing front on the side. But the last few months my speeds have gotten worse and worse. For most of that time my speeds ranged from fantastic to decent. I was a TMHI user for just shy of two years. This is NOT how you treat a long time customer. I don't know who in their right mind would pay for that, if my experience is what other "lite" customers experience. Given the fact that two years ago I had speed in the 100-200MB range when I first signed up, I'm wondering if they've just rolled out this "Lite" plan to cover their ass when their service no longer works, just to keep milking people for money, making them believe they still have service, it's just throttled now and a hell of a lot crappier and slower. Maybe it's not that I no longer has service, but they simply downgraded my home, again, without telling me. ![]() My home had been downgraded to their "Lite" plan (when all this time before I was on the unlimited and had never switched plans) without ever being told. I was shocked to learn that after two years of having been in the service area my address was no longer listed for the unlimited plans. UPDATE: Out of sheer boredom or maybe just curiosity, I went to the T-Mobile Home Internet website and typed in my address to see if they still list me as having service to my home. ![]()
